Set on 88th Street, this four-bedroom “mansion in the sky” was Mazen’s first full-scale interior project and the foundation of the studio’s design philosophy.
What began as two separate units became one cohesive, artful home, defined by confidence, color, and close collaboration with the family who lives there.
Nearly every element, much of it sourced through Roche Bobois, passed through Mazen’s hands: the cross-shaped hallway rug that greets guests, the layered palette of jewel tones held in check by crisp whites and grays, the herringbone floors restored to catch the afternoon light.
The result is refined but livable: courage and clarity, the two qualities that still guide the practice today.
