Located in the heart of Manhattan, the home Mazen shares with his partner, Vincent—also an interior designer—stands as both a creative experiment and a personal sanctuary. Every square foot has been shaped by their hands, reflecting countless evenings spent rearranging, refining, and reimagining. Even their two beloved cats, Egg and Omar, have played their part, ensuring that comfort and livability are as integral to the design as form and proportion. The result is a space that feels truly alive—layered with memory, humor, and a shared belief that a home should evolve alongside its inhabitants.

Mazen and Vincent share a commitment to quality over quantity, selecting pieces that tell a story while indulging in the thrill of discovering remarkable thrift finds and small, character-filled accents. Though Mazen is known for completing client projects within months, his own home has become a slow, ongoing narrative—a design perpetually in progress. Designed with hospitality in mind, the apartment was fully furnished and ready for guests within ten days of move-in, culminating in their first gathering that set the tone for many more.

As Mazen and Vincent continue to evolve their home, it will remain a creative canvas—ever-changing, endlessly personal, and always ready to welcome friends, family, and the occasional feline cameo.

The project was photographed by Alan Lewis, a Brooklyn-based photographer whose work captures the spirit and intimacy of their space.
