Upper East Side - Condominium
Project Start Date: March, 2024
Completion Time: Two months
In a sleek modern building on the Upper East Side, Mazen Designs transformed a crisp, sun-drenched condominium into a serene and elegant home for a client seeking both calm and character.
The client—a frequent traveler and art enthusiast—requested a space that felt edited but not empty, refined but not stiff. Mazen responded with a palette of warm neutrals and layered textures, softening the modern bones of the space without erasing its architectural clarity.
Clean-lined, low-profile furnishings sit atop subtly patterned rugs, offering moments of calm beneath tall windows. Brass details, rounded forms, and curved accent chairs introduce softness and sculptural intrigue, while delicate lighting creates intimacy in each zone.
A dining nook bathed in natural light balances utility with atmosphere, perfect for casual meals or thoughtful conversation. Throughout the home, thoughtful curation of books, ceramics, and glass pieces infuse soul into every corner—each item a story in itself.
The result is an effortless blend of modern sensibility and quiet luxury: a space that feels considered, intimate, and deeply livable.
